Merging Package Files
I'm quite sure there's another tutorial somewhere, but I guess 1 more won't hurt. Click to enlarge pictures :)
0. Organization!
Most important part~
Before you start, create a folder for your packages. Not the Mods folder. A seperate folder.
Within that folder, create subfolders that you will classify your packages into. For this example, I'm classifying them alphabetically.
Each subfolder should hold a maximum of 100 unmerged packages (i.e. as you recieve them).
Name them as you wish. For this example I'm using names as Group1, Group2 etc.
Now you're ready to start step 1 :P

4. Selecting export area and namingWait a while and this should pop-up. Navigate to a place where you would like to place your merged packages. I find that my Mods>Packages folder works just fine. Name your package and hit save.
The window might or might not minimize and the screen might or might not flicker. Don't worry about these, it's perfectly normal. When the packages are done merging, the window should maximize by itself. You can just close the program , or use Ctrl+N to merge another package. |
